Time in Range Worksheet

While the A1C test provides average blood glucose levels over a 3-month period, time in range (TIR) provides a more detailed picture. “Time in range” signifies glucose readings kept within your blood sugar range as discussed with your doctor.

Time in range is more like a weekly report, whereas A1C provides monthly summaries. TIR is helpful because the A1C test does not display the blood sugar variations and trends over days and weeks.

Track your blood sugar daily for two weeks and record it on the worksheet to calculate your time in range. The worksheet includes calculations and examples.
